CMoM bus to MacWorld Expo & meeting upon return

Presenter:
CMoM members who purchased techie goodies at the Moscone Center
When:
Friday, January 9 , 2009 at 7:00 p.m (or earlier for pizza!)
What:

On January 9, 2009 Club Mac of Monterey will take our annual bus trip to the Mac World show in San Francisco. As this is a Friday, our usual CMoM general meeting will be held after we get back.

As of the date this is posted, there are seats available.

We need to have all the signups and money in hand ASAP.

Make your reservations for the 24-passenger bus by email to our MacWorld bus chairman, Jerry Gifford, CMoMAmb@mac.com (Please use "Macworld Bus" in the subject line.)

Send your check to Club Mac of Monterey at P.O. Box 2107, Monterey, CA 93942.

The take off and landing spot for the MacBus will be as usual; the parking lot at the Pacific Grove Adult Education School, 1025 Lighthouse Ave, Pacific Grove.  Riders are encouraged to carpool to the school and park as much out of the way as possible so that there will be sufficient space for students and parents to park during the day for their school classes. The bus should arrive onsite by 7:45 AM.

We will leave from the Pacific Grove Adult School at 8 AM sharp!!  The time of our arrival back in Pacific Grove is dependent on the effects of traffic on the way home from SF. We will leave San Francisco sometime between 2:45 and 3:00 PM.  We expect to arrive home  between 5:00--5:15 PM.

As this is a Friday, our usual CMoM general meeting will be held after we get back.   However, a "dinner meeting" will  begin earlier than usual, between 5:45--6:00 PM with hot pizza and cold beverages for the benefit of the travelers and members who are on the bus. Our regular CMoM general meeting will begin at 7:00 PM with Q&A and sharing what we saw and learned in San Francisco.

Trip details and advice for the day will be Emailed to all who purchase a seat on the bus.

Given the cost of gas and parking in SF, the price of $25 for club members and $45 for guests is quite reasonable. If you are not currently a member and would like to participate this would be a good time to join (membership is only $20 for the year).

You should get your FREE Expo ticket soon as we do not know how long this offer will stand. Even if you are not now certain if you are going, since it is free, get the ticket anyway.  Please let us know if you find another source.

Please *CLICK HERE * to send an email to our CMoM Ambassador and request the CODE for a free ticket to enter the Expo main floor. Please enter "Free ticket code" in the subject line.
