What:	We are being told that Apple has stopped supporting iPhoto and Aperture with updates and bug fixes. A new application named "Photos" will take their place, probably, early in 2015. Our October meeting will delve into what little we know about "Photos" and explore future options for iPhoto and Aperture users. "Photos" is among us. We will take a look at "Photos" in IOS 8 for insight into what might be coming to your Mac. As usual questions about using the current iPhoto and Aperture are welcome. Topic	The future of Club Mac of Monterey
Presenter:	Everyone who is present
What:	Club Mac is an all volunteer organization with a rich history. The club is comprised of like-minded individuals with a common interest, i.e., sharing knowledge of--and experiences with--Apple hardware and software and with the many third party supporting contributors. The club cannot survive without the participation of the membership. The board of directors has repeatedly sought help in several areas. a) By either by giving a presentation on a relevant topic at a monthly meeting or by recommending an outside speaker b) By volunteering to be the master of ceremony at a club meeting c) By showing some interest in becoming a board member Finally, in order to thrive, we must seek out new members, especially from the younger generation. The future of Club Mac of Monterey depends on it.
